Mobilité Montréal is advising motorists that there will be major closures this weekend in the city, notably Highway 15 as it runs through the Turcot Interchange and a section of Angrignon Blvd.
Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, a northbound section of the highway will be completely closed between Exit 58 (toward Highway 10, downtown and Nuns’ Island) and Exit 62 (toward de la Vérendrye Blvd.). The section will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.
Traffic from Highways 15 north and 20 west will be detoured through Highway 10 west (the Bonaventure) to downtown.
By default, several sections of roadways that connect to Highway 15 in and near the Turcot Interchange will be closed, including the eastbound section of de la Vérendrye Blvd. between Galt St. and Highway 15.
A southbound section of Highway 15 will also be closed, between the entrance to the Turcot Interchange and the entrance to Atwater Ave., between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
A section of Angrignon Blvd., between St-Patrick and Notre-Dame Sts., above the Lachine Canal, will be closed between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. Detours will be set up on Notre-Dame St. in both directions.
Beginning on Monday at 5 a.m., a section of St-Patrick St., between Cabot St. and de l’Église Ave., will be closed until mid-March. A detour will be set up on Eadie St.
