After losing three captains in a year Gold Coast are now keeping their stars, with a trio of young Suns committing to the club.
Emerging midfield star Jack Bowes, a product of the Gold Coast academy and a key to the Suns’ midfield of the future, has agreed to a long-term deal to stay at the club. He was contracted until the end of next year but has signed a four-year contract extension, tying him to the club until the end of 2024.
«Two-metre» Peter Wright, who was set to come out of contract at the end of this year, has signed a new three-year deal, which will see him remain at the club for eight years and become a free agent at the end of his contract.
Tough midfielder Ben Ainsworth, who was also contracted until the end of next year, has extended his contract by two years.
