On Thursday AMP Capital announced Coles and Aldo would join Woolworths, which would also undergo a refurbishment, in a new fresh food precinct.
AMP Capital WA divisional development manager Scott Nugent said the fresh food precinct would provide customers with greater variety.
“Attracting Coles and Aldi, along with other exciting retailers and specialty stores, shows that there’s great interest and growth in the area,» he said.

The expansion will also include an alfresco dining precinct and 10-screen Hoyts cinema.
Coles and Aldi were expected to open mid-2021, with the entire expansion slated to finish by 2021.
