Brisbane commuters face delays, trains suspended after police incident

Shorncliffe trains were suspended in both directions between Shorncliffe and Northgate stations after a police incident in Brisbane’s north on Wednesday.

Commuters were facing up to 90 minutes of delays and TransLink said buses were being arranged to replace affected trains.

Police were called to the incident about 4.40am near Deagon station, 19 kilometres north of Brisbane CBD.

Police investigations were ongoing.
